while in the world of taiwan i discovered the vastness of people out their sharing their wardrobe remix/daily wear/style files/etc. it's addicting. everyone comes up with darling outfits (j-dawg) that i totally want to copy. take http://ellenitza.blogspot.com/:

skinny (cuffed) jeans, bright sweater, floral button up and those shoes...val, remember when you bought a pair of those at the mall in salt lake on general conference weekend?! so cute.

i love the similar tones in this outfit. the skinny jeans and a looser shirt. love grey.

i would be worried about the potentially halloween-ish ness of this outfit but it totally works. the brightness of the black and white skirt with the orange cardigan is softened by the light blue shirt. oh so cute.

little bite sized cupcakes in awesome flavors like orange poppy seed, chocolate pistachio, chocolate orange...the list goes on. what really gets me though is they have a page called 'meet the cupcakes'.

i'm going to be doing yoga anatomy classes tonight, tomorrow, the next day, etc. and to make it through i'm treating myself to a few snacks for during class:

most of the other girls come in with their raw foods, coffees, fruit drinks...a little more organic but hey. who am i kidding...i love me some processed sugar :)

ginger cookies

my sister genny got this recipe from one of her college roommates. and really these cookies are truly fantastical:

ginger cookies

1 cup soften butter

1.5 cups brown sugar

1 egg

teaspoon vanilla

1/2 teaspoon ginger

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon cinnamon

2 cups flour

1/2 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips

combine ingredients, roll into balls and then roll in powder sugar. bake 375 degrees for 6 to 7 minutes.

happy thoughts

1. baby thighs - so so adorable!! why can't chunkier thighs be cool on adults?

2. ben & jerry's magic brownie ice cream. black raspberry ice cream with big brownie bits. it was a limited edition, now an encore edition that is delicious. did i mention it was on sale at target?!?

3. pool isles are showing up again in stores!!! spring and summer are around the corner :)

4. i'm going to texas!! i will visit baja fresh, take a yoga class with my mom, go shopping with polly, maybe polar bear swim with colton, and of course pick up a few items i've missed for over 8 months!! (how long must a girl go without her favorite chucks?!?!)

5. the phrase, "let the waves of your breath move you further into the pose." i took a yoga class last night which focused on stretching and moving deeper into poses. this phrase made so much sense and i could feel myself going deeper with each exhale.

p.s. i dare you to not feel happy looking at nephew :)
