I ditto Val, I would choose the top one if I were to choose any. My hair normally looks doofie when it's up high. PLUS after reading the steps for the bottom one, I know that the different lengths of my hair would make it really difficult to do. I need someone to teach me how to bobby pin my buns because I either end up digging into my scalp, the pins won't hold, or all of the pins hit each other in the middle. No matter what I have tons of spiked hair clumps coming out of the bun. :(
