the puffin cafe.

just before i left washougal, my mom took us kids out to puffin cafe.

the restaurant literally floats on the columbia river.

the theme is caribbean food cooked by pirates :)

our drinks were served in mason drinking jars...very cute.

there were tons of signs displayed that we/i wandered around looking at/taking pictures of.

the food. polly got a boring burger (bacon and cheese), mom got montego bay chicken tacos with fried orca, colton got marley's nacho supreme and i got the bucaneer burger (comes with a slice of pineapple). both colton's and my meal (bucaneer burger) came with cotija cheese. the waffle fries were extremely good...polly saved hers for the end which was smart. but then colton and my mom kept begging for another fry. my only complaint was the diameter of my bun was about 4 inches while my burger/patty was approximately 2.5.

adventure in silver springs.

back in november a group of friends (self named...adventure club) went out to eureka and silver springs, ut for an adventure. i mentioned this little adventure before which resulted in my little knee injury. at the time i wasn't quite up for pictures. but i've recently realized i neglected posting lots of important ones (el salvador, movember party, christmas, etc) and so i'm trying to catch up/throw stuff in.

stopped on the side of the road taking a self timer picture. we are kind of hilariously awesome. and yes, jon is dressed as indiana jones.

matt and danya always end up in engagement type shots. i should post a collection at some point :)
